Is Social Media Still Considered an Addiction?
Social media has changed the way media organizations interact with their audiences. From Facebook to YouTube, VOA Africa utilizes several platforms to reach its audience in Africa and the diaspora. As VOA’s English to Africa commemorates its 60th anniversary this week, our digital desk shares a report produced in February 2013 by VOA’s Paul Ndiho. He reported on study released in 2012 by the University of Chicago that said social media addiction had been officially named a condition.
