Internet Outages Reported Following Gabon Election
Following the Gabonese presidential election over the weekend, internet outages were reported across the country. Foreign media institutions were also severely restricted as opposition leaders claim incumbent Ali Bongo Ondimba deliberately slowed the election. For more on the Gabonese elections, VOA’s Paul Ndiho spoke to Henry Muguzi, coordinator for the African Elections Observer Network in Kampala, Uganda.
