Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization dedicated to affordable housing for those who need it most. It began in 1976 in the United States and is now in 70 countries worldwide including nine in Africa. But with the death of President Jimmy Carter, it has lost one of its most valuable activists and strongest voices for the organization that he created in 1984. Rudo Kayombo is the Vice President for Africa area office of Habitat for Humanity International. She talks with VOA's Philip Alexiou about the loss to the organization of the former U.S. president.
