Former Malawi President Thinks to Run Again
Former Malawi President Arthur Peter Mutharika is consulting with his family and political associates whether he should run in 2025. The former president says that Malawians are urging him to run again for president in 2025 to finish the good work he was doing for the country before what he calls “a judicial coup” removed him from office. Mutharika called on President Chakwera to step down for his failure to solve Malawi’s economic problems. VOA’s James Butty spoke with Mutharika.
