Ethiopian Business Mogul Reflects on Humble Beginnings
A $50 loan was the seed money for the empire that Ethiopian-American businessman, Henok Tesfaye, built as an immigrant in the U.S. Exposed to various odd jobs in his early days in Washington, DC., Tesfaye found opportunities beyond his wildest dreams working as a parking lot attendant, which gave him the foundation to build a parking lot empire that now serves millions of customers in the U.S. and Ethiopia. VOA's Jackson Mvungayi spoke with Tesfay about his journey.
