We Will Ensure a Peaceful, Credible Election: Nigeria Police Deputy
The Nigerian Police Force is calling on voters to be respectful of officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) tasked with administering the elections, while promising security personnel deployed for elections will safeguard the electoral process and Nigeria’s citizens. VOA's Peter Clottey spoke with Adeleke Adeyinka, deputy inspector-general of police operations, who says the force will ensure a peaceful and credible election.
