The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Nigeria election observation mission reports it has documented a number of irregularities, including electoral violence, postponements of elections, inadequate protection of voter secrecy and the delivery of the wrong voting materials to some stations. Meanwhile, Nigerians across the West African nation continue casting ballots Monday even though the general election, which included choosing a new national legislature, had been scheduled to end Saturday.
