East Africa has witnessed the highest levels of criminal activity on the continent since the beginning of 2023, according to the Africa Organized Crime Index 2023 launched Friday in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.The report highlighted South Sudan as the country with the highest recruitment of child soldiers, involving both state and non-state actors.
