East Africa community tension hampers growth, unity
The East Africa Community (EAC) envisions a prosperous, competitive, secure, stable and politically united region. The regional block of eight partner states had agreed that peace and security are prerequisites to social and economic development within the Community but tensions among some members are making it difficult. VOA’s Douglas Mpuga reached political analyst David Monda for more on the EAC’s struggles.
