DRC children fear returning to school in M23 controlled Goma
Parents and children who reside in Goma, an eastern city in the Democratic Republic of Congo, have expressed fears of returning to school after M23 rebels who seized control of the North Kivu capital ordered for the resumption of classes, despite some schools still experiencing the effect of the fighting between the rebels and the nation’s army.
