DNC concludes in Chicago
Fanfare and jubilation rang through the United Center in Chicago as the Democratic National Convention concluded Thursday. The Democratic Party officially confirmed incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as their official nominees for the 2024 U.S. presidential election. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Todd Bell, the director of political management at George Washington University, about the future of the party now, after the convention has ended.
