Daybreak Africa – Rwanda Stands Ground on DRC Refugees & More
On Daybreak Africa: Rwandan authorities insist that the East African nation welcomes refugees from the Democratic Republic of Congo that are fleeing insecurity, persecution and violence. But they are also calling on the international community to take responsibility to find a durable solution to “this forgotten group of refugees from the DRC.” Global human rights organization, Human Rights Watch, has called on all African nations to address widespread displacement, killings and other abuses that originate from conflicts on the continent.
