Church Land Dispute in SSudan Leaves One Man Dead

A dispute over a piece of land near the national parliament in Juba turned violent on Wednesday when soldiers shot a man on church grounds. For South Sudan in Focus, Onen Walter Solomon reports that the dispute escalated when soldiers arrived and ordered church officials to stop building a fence.
