China hospital ship tours Africa, provides free health care
China’s naval hospital ship, the Peace Ark is on a 13-nation tour of mostly African countries, providing free health care for locals and expanding Beijing’s soft power influence. VOA’s Vicky Stark went on board the ship while it was docked in South Africa’s coastal city of Cape Town and filed this report.
