Chadema Deputy Head Claims Plot Against Him
Tundu Lissu, the deputy chairman of Tanzania’s main opposition party Chadema, says he’s received credible information of a plot hatched against him. Lissu, who is running for the party’s leadership against the current leader Freeman Mbowe in January 2025, tells VOA’s James Butty that he's publicizing the alleged plot before it becomes reality.
