Analyst: Ending DR Congo war, a priority
The United Nations on Monday warned of the "extremely worrying" humanitarian situation in the besieged city of Goma. Meanwhile, a former governor of Central Kasai Province in the DRC says genuine dialogue is the best way to resolve the ongoing conflict in the eastern part of the country. Hurbert Kabasu Katulondi’s remarks come after Kenyan President Samuel Ruto announced plans to meet with Rwandan President Paul Kagame and DRC President Felix Tshisekedi on Wednesday. Experts say high on the agenda should be finding ways to immediately end the conflict in the eastern part of the country. For the latest developments and analysis VOA's Peter Clottey reached Hurbert Kabasu Katulondi.
