Analysis: US Supreme Court overturns federal regulations doctrine
The US Supreme Court has made one of its biggest decisions this term striking down what is known as The Chevron Doctrine, a 1984 Supreme Court ruling that gave government agencies the power to interpret statues that fell under their expert purview. VOA’s Philip Alexiou talks with assistant professor Michael Richardson at Georgetown University to get an understanding of the implications are going forward.
