South Sudan, Kenya Must Investigate Activist's Disappearance: Amnesty [4:35]
Amnesty International is expressing concern over the disappearance of South Sudanese activist and government critic Morris Mabior Awikjok who was reportedly seized by unknown men in the Kenyan capital Nairobi on Saturday. The rights watchdog says it is concerned over social media reports and family suspicions that Awikjo was taken to South Sudan and is being held by the National Security Service in Juba. Irungu Houghton, executive director of Amnesty International Kenya, tells VOA's Nabeel Biajo that Kenyan and South Sudanese authorities must investigate Awikjok’s disappearance and make available any information about his whereabouts and the circumstances around his reported arrest and detention.
