Al Ahly Ly one win away from BAL title, after defeating Rivers Hoopers
Basketball African League (BAL) debutants Al Ahly Ly of Libya are only one game away from clinching the 2024 BAL title after defeating Nigeria's Rivers Hoopers 89-83 in overtime in Wednesday’s semi-final game. Al Ahly Ly and Angola’s Petro De Luanda will face off in Kigali, Rwanda on Saturday for the BAL Final. Nigeria’s Rivers Hoopers will take on the Cape Town Tigers of South Africa for third place on Friday.
