Africa remembers former US President Jimmy Carter
The body of former U-S President Jimmy Carter is set to arrive in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday to lie in state at the Capitol building, followed by a funeral service at the National Cathedral Thursday. Africa remembers the 39th US president along with the rest of the world. Elliott Masocha, a Zimbabwe born political science professor at Ohio's DeVry University tells VOA’s James Butty Africans remember Carter for his contribution to Africa's public health and for his humility.
