Activists Call for Africa Climate Reparations
Environmental activists from different parts of Africa took to the streets of Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh over the weekend calling for climate justice in Africa as the COP27 Climate Conference continues. Activists also called on the biggest polluters, among them rich western nations to pay reparations for damages and losses to the continent and make global climate change policies that prioritize the needs of “indigenous people.”
