The South Sudan government is investigating a case between community members and the county commissioner of Maban in Upper Nile state. Last week, young men staged a protest at Maban County headquarters demanding the removal of the commissioner, who reportedly fled to a South Sudan People’s Defense Forces’ barracks in the area.
