From Serving in the US Army to Beauty Queen
Cameroonian American Elizabeth Nintai, a recipient of the prestigious title of fourth Princess of the Miss Africa USA pageant, uses her platform to share her personal journey and advocate for the empowerment of women as they "discover their true authentic selves." Nintai enlisted in the United States army upon completing her nursing degree, serving on active-duty for eight years. She joined VOA's Jackson Mvunganyi to talk about her journey, from serving in the military to competing in beauty pageants.
