Sudanese in the capital Khartoum and other cities across the country woke up today to a dramatic escalation in tensions between Sudan’s Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. On a televised report, army spokesperson Brigadier Nabil Abdullah said recent RSF deployments in Khartoum and other cities "have stirred up panic and fear among people."
