Olympic finalist and two-time Commonwealth Games medalist Thea LaFond of Dominica says it's a privilege to try and inspire young girls on International Women's Day (March 8).  In a wide-ranging interview with Sonny on Wednesday's show, the world class triple jumper gives advice to parents who might have misgivings about their daughters participating in sports; the discrimination she's faced in world athletics; equal pay for female athletes; her own athletic career and much more.  As Sonny said to Thea after their interview ended, "You covered a lot of ground."
