Africa News Tonight: Allies to South African President Cyril Ramaphosa say it is “premature” for the Southern African leader to step down from his post, a development which was followed by the presidential spokesman telling reporters that Ramaphosa’s decision is imminent. World Health Organization authorities report that the global aid group does not have unfettered access to transport aid into Ethiopia’s northern Tigray region, despite a cease-fire deal that was signed in early November, between federal authorities and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front.
