Uganda’s government has distanced itself from remarks made by President Yoweri Museveni’s son, Lt. General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who recently caused tension between the East African nation and neighboring Kenya after publishing threatening tweets. Uganda's foreign minister later emphasized that Museveni’s government does not conduct foreign policy via social media.
