In the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Cameroon, traditional "minnows" such as Gambia, Comoros Islands, Equatorial Guinea, Sierra Leone and Malawi have proved their critics wrong with surprising upsets of highly-rated teams. Both Gambia and Equatorial Guinea will play in this weekend's quarter-final matches.
