I’ve also got two special guests today: Mass Dogo aka Dogo from Togo joins me in the studio with my Song of the Week co-host Kwame Ofori to present his Award-winning song “Soke Wo.” Dogo is based in the Washington DC area and recently won the 2019 Best World Music Aritst/Group award at the Washington Area Music Awards (WAMA) with that song. Second, our Nairobi-based reporter Bill Odidi meets up with Kenyan singer/songwriter Diana Mayonde. We’ll get to know her and listen to a couple samples of her new EP Project Purple.
