South Sudan President Salva Kiir did an about-face on his position on rebel leader Riek Machar, saying his former First Vice President is welcome to return to Juba and will be given full protection. And also; a top SPLM-IO official with the Machar faction says his party is focused on the upcoming high level forum-not on reunifying the SPLM party. Imatong state governor designate Oyet Nathaniel says Machar will only come back to Juba after a comprehensive peace deal is signed.
