Africa 54: World Leaders speak At The UNGA, Clinton Global Initiative Discusses Solutions
World leaders speaking at the U.N.G.A addressed a variety of issues ranging from democracy and security to economic development. The Clinton Global Initiative ended its two-day 2023 summit in New York on Tuesday where US former president Bill Clinton spoke with Pope Francis and other leaders discussed finding solutions to global challenges. We’ll have a report. And, a new Start-up, Hamaton Agro Services Limited in Zambia is teaching rural farmers essential skills in record keeping, cash flow management, and financial literacy. Straight Talk Africa: Leaders Address UNGA, Talk Sustainable Goals
On Straight Talk Africa, host Haydé Adams and her guests discuss the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, UNGA, where leaders will spotlight their nation’s local, regional and international challenges and accomplishments. Leaders are also expected to work toward ensuring that the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, or SDG’s, towards peace, prosperity, progress and sustainability, are met.
