As Kenya’s new cabinet gathered to be sworn in today, thousands of mostly young protesters demonstrated in Nairobi, protesting the country’s economic conditions and calling for President William Ruto to resign. The World Health Organization says Chad recently eliminated the tropical disease Human African Trypanosomiasis, known as “HAT”.
