Ethnomusicologist and Host Heather Maxwell keeps you up to date on what’s happening in African music with exclusive interviews, cultural information, and of course, great music -- including rare recordings from the Leo Sarkisian Library of African Music.

A former journalist and CEO of the Thomson Reuters Foundation and Founder of TrustLaw and Trust Women, Villa is a passionate advocate for women’s and slaves’ empowerment. She talks about specific cases of human bondage and how to fight slavery worldwide.
