Aubrey Qwana (South Africa) - Music Time in Africa
Inside today’s archive edition you’ll meet two exciting artists: Kenyan hip hop artist Octopizzo and South African singer Aubrey Qwana. Both had recently released new works: Jungle Fever and Imvula Mlomo respectively. There’s also Heather’s cool mix of music including Zimbabwean amapiano sensation Sha Sha (“Woza”), Nigerian Afrobeats artists Tekno (“Enjoy”) and Cheque (“Zoom”), Malian pop star, Abdoul Karim Diabate (“Bamako”) and French Hip-Hop/R&B star TayC (“Comme toi”) and more! The vintage tune from 1979 features Guinean band Horoya National Dance Band plus a new reggae mashup from Malawi (“Linney Hoo”).
