Holiday Blend - Music Time in Africa
Dr. Maxwell delivers a delicious holiday blend of songs from 10 different countries. Styles include Wassoulou folk, Bwa balafon, afrobeats, Afropop, salsa, reggae, 1970s acoustic guitar band from the Zambia, and more. Her special guest is female bassist, Mah Keita from Dakar and at 50 minutes past the hour Heather and Nazir Hausawa of VOA Hausa Service present a Hausa hip hop tune by a pair of brothers Dala Dawa.
