Her Song of The Week "African Fast Food" by Alune Wade is from Senegal. This edition's feature is an interview with Berlin-based artist, Ekow Alabi Savage. Heather meets with him at the African Kingdom restaurant in Berlin and he talks about the ups and downs of musical life in Berlin, his experiences playing with the legendary highlife and Afrobeat master, Ebo Taylor, and his perspective on the ongoing debate in West Africa: how much is Ghanian music influencing Nigerian music?
