Morocco's head coach, Walid Regragui, has named a 26-man team for the World Cup football tournament in Qatar. The big surprise selection is 18-year-old Bilal El Khannouss, a Belgium-born midfielder. The Atlas Lions of Morocco will be making their sixth World Cup appearance. They play Croatia, a 2018 World Cup finalist, November 23 in their opening World Cup match. Samson Omale kicks off Friday's show with a report on the Moroccan team.

Russian Propaganda and Violence in Ukraine
Guest host Tatiana Vorozhko interviews Peter Pomerantsev, a Ukrainian-born British journalist and author, about how Moscow deploys disinformation and propaganda in its pursuit of conquering Ukraine. Pomerantsev compares Vladimir Putin’s tactics to those of Hitler who demonized and dehumanized Jews and other minorities to justify his campaign of violence and extermination. Putin’s regime employs similar propaganda in relation to Ukraine and its people as well as falsely blames the West and NATO for the destruction and death it has wrought in Ukraine.
US Politics: Midterm Election Analysis
In a stunning reversal of expectations, many Republican candidates underperformed their Democratic opponents in several key congressional and statewide races in the November 8 midterm elections. Jim Kessler, vice president for policy at Third Way, and John Fortier, resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, discuss with host Carol Castiel the primary factors which minimized losses for the Democrats, from former President Trump’s role in endorsing flawed candidates to the overturning of abortions rights by the US Supreme Court.
