Health Chat
Health Chat is a live call-in program that addresses health issues of interest to Africa. The show puts listeners directly in touch with guest medical professionals. It includes a weekly feature spot, health news and comments from listeners on health issues. The program is hosted by veteran health reporter Linord Moudou.
Music Time in Africa - Pongo (Angola)
Celebrate the holiday season with special music, goodwill and cheer from some of Music Time in Africa’s favorite artists, radio personalities and music reporters. Dr. Maxwell’s holiday playlist features classics from the 1990s and 2000 and a string of warm chats with friends from Togo (Bethel Togovi), Kenya (Lucy Ilado), Ghana (Prince Benjamin), Nigeria (Seun Rave), and Washington DC (Naomi Achu). You’ll also meet two exciting musical artists; Angolan-Portuguese pop star Pongo, and South Sudan’s top recording artist Emmanuel Jal. Both have forthcoming albums due for release in early 2022 and reporters Bram Posthumus and Bill Odidi present their new music and stories in high holiday spirit.
