The use of excessive force by Tanzania police criticized

Attorney Fatma Karume, the chairperson of the Tanzania Center for Strategic Litigation, is expressing concern about the use of excessive force by the police to stop the main opposition party, Chadema, from holding a rally recently in Mbeya. Karume tells VOA’s Peter Clottey that the police action was shocking.
