Africa 54: Sudan's Gen. Burhan Visits Qatar, Millions In Additional Aid To Sudan and Neighbors

The Sudanese army chief is in Qatar for talk's with the emir. The visit is General Abdel Fattah Burhan's third international trip since fighting erupted between the Sudanese military and a rival paramilitary force. The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, announces over $160 million in additional humanitarian assistance for the people of Sudan and neighboring countries. And, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrives in Ukraine just hours after the capital city was hit by Russian airstrikes. All this and much more coming up on Africa 54.
