Millions of young people in Zambia struggle with securing employment after graduation and continue to rely on their parents to get by. 82 percent of the country’s population falls below the age of 35, according to the U.N. In 2018, Zambia’s unemployment rate among young people was officially reported at 41 percent. Three graduates from the capital Lusaka, share their experiences in searching for jobs with Kathy Short.
