World Bank suspension of Tanzania tourism project lauded

Anuradha Mittal, executive director of the Oakland Institute, a California based policy think tank, is welcoming a World Bank decision to suspend funding for a tourism project in Tanzania following allegations of human rights violations. Mittal tells VOA's James Butty that the suspension of funding should send a resounding message to the Tanzanian government that there are consequences for those who violate human rights to boost tourism.
