Tunisian tennis star Ons Jabeur made history on Monday after defeating Bernarda Pera of the United States 6-3, 6-1 to reach the last eight at the French Open. Jabeur, who needed just 63 minutes to complete the win, became the first Tunisian and first female on the African continent to reach the quarter-finals in the history of the event. She has now reached at least the last eight in all four of the Grand Slam tournaments.
