US Celebrates Civil Rights Accomplishments

Scores of tourists and locals on Monday visited the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial to celebrate accomplishments by civil rights heroes such as Martin Luther King Jr. and sang songs such as “We Shall Overcome,” an iconic gospel song that became a protest song and key anthem of the U.S. civil rights movement.
