UN calls for ceasefire, withdrawal of Rwandan troops from DRC

The United Nations Security Council has called on Rwanda's military to stop supporting the M23 rebels in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo and immediately withdraw of all troops from captured territory without preconditions. Kigali denies the allegation that they are behind the rebels. The call comes as the M23 continue to capture more land while appointing a parallel administration in the eastern DRC.
