A witness in Maban says two jet fighters from Sudan allegedly bombed Thor Tumbak village last week, killing two people, a cow and goat in the area. The witness says two days of bombing caused panic among residents, including refugees from Sudan. A government official in Maban, who asked not to be identified because of fear of government reaction, spoke to VOA’s John Tanza in Arabic about war planes looking for Sudanese rebels allegedly hiding in South Sudan territory.
