The spokesperson for the International Committee of the Red Cross, ICRC, in Sudan says the organization continues to provide life-saving support to families stranded in towns across Sudan. Germain Mwehu said that access for humanitarian aid workers remains a significant challenge throughout the country. The ICRC is urging both the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces and the Sudan Armed Forces to safeguard civilians who are trapped in various towns across Sudan. Mwehu told VOA's John Tanza that the ICRC has successfully facilitated the reunion of 64 members of the Sudan Armed Forces, who were in the custody of RSF, with their families in Darfur.
