Two top diplomats in South Sudan are calling on the government to allow journalists to do their work without fear of retribution. In a press statement released Monday commemorating World Radio Day, the ambassadors of the United States and Norway said access to information and freedom of expression have been key demands of the people of South Sudan since before the country’s independence.
