Hundreds of people protested late Sunday in the Libyan capital Tripoli after news broke that Foreign Minister Najla Mangoush had held meetings with Israeli officials.
Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, who heads the government of national unity in the capital, suspended and referred Mangoush for investigation over the meeting, which was the first ever between top diplomats of Libya and Israel.
