Namibia mourns death of 1st President Sam Nujoma

Namiba's first democratically elected president, Sam Nujoma, has died. He was 95. The country's keader, President Nangolo Mbumba, announced the death in a televised message, Sunday. Nujoma served as president for 15-years, from 1990 to 2005, after leading his country to independence from South Africa in 1990 and was formally recognized as the "Founding Father of the Namibian Nation" through a 2005 act of parliament.
